INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PHOTO EDITING CLASS (Computer Skills Necessary to be Successful in Photo Editing)

PHOTO EDITING USING MICROSOFT DIGITAL IMAGE 2006 CLASS

For both of these classes:
The Microsoft Digital Imaging 2006 software is not required for
these classes but it would be helpful to have on your home computer.
Students will need recordable CD's or Flash / Thumb drives to be able to save their class work
Prerequisites: Students should have completed the Windows XP course or have the equivalent knowledge.
Please Note: All students requesting fee based classes will be placed on a standby list for that class until the fee is received. Please continue to register in advance for the classes.
Introduction To Digital Photo Editing Class:
Remedial computer work as it relates to the use of Image 2006.
Any computer skills that will be essential for success in Image 2006.
We will learn how to place files into the work area. How to control the work area.
We will learn the use of the essential photo editing tools such as;
color balance, sharpening focus, removing red eye, crop, straighten
photo, etc. Prerequisites: Students should have completed the Windows XP course or have the equivalent knowledge.
Class meets once a week for three weeks - choose one set:
Set 1) Tuesdays, To be announced 9 am to 11 am
OR
Set 2) Tuesdays, To be announced 9 am to 11 am
Photo Editing using Microsoft Digital Image 2006:
Students will learn the basics of digital photo editing
using Microsoft Digital Imaging 2006 and if time permits, extra tips
and tricks about matting and framing plus interesting uses for your
photos. The photo editing basics used in this class can be applied to
almost any photo editing program.
Prerequisites: Students should have completed the Windows XP course or have the equivalent knowledge.
Class meets once a week for five weeks - choose one set:
Tuesdays, To be announced 9 am to 11 am
OR
Tuesdays, To be announced 9 am to 11 am
