Microsoft Excel Basics Class  Microsoft Excel Intermediate Class   MICROSOFT EXCEL BASICS CLASS What: This class is intended for people who want to do significant projects or develop skills for the workplace. As such it moves at fairly brisk pace and includes homework assignments.  Students will become familiar with Excel's basic functionality, menus, toolbars, icons and shortcut keys.  Learn how to create, format, save and print an Excel spreadsheet.  Also, understand and use formulas, work with worksheets and workbooks, and learn the basic productivity elements of Excel. Students must have completed the Windows XP course or have the equivalent knowledge.  It is also best if the student is familiar with another software package such as Microsoft Word When: When: Four sessions, 1 pm - 3 pm Thursdays April 3, 10, 17, 24 Where: Alamo PC Organization Computer Learning Center Prerequisites: Pre-registration is required. Tuition fee:  Free with your membership in the Alamo PC Organization Technical Rating Code: Class Leader: Cheng Yuan   EXCEL INTERMEDIATE CLASS What: This class is follow-on to the Excel Basics Class and is intended people who want to do significant projects or develop skills for the workplace.  It covers conditional formatting, absolute addressing, sorting, subtotaling, filtering, charting, functions and other subjects as time permits When: Pre-registration is required. Dates to be determined Where: Alamo PC Organization Computer Learning Center Prerequisites: Excel Basics class or permission of the instructor. Pre-registration is required. Assumes some basic familiarity with the subject but is not a technical course. Assumes that the student is somewhat familiar with the subject and will discuss. Assumes that the student is competent in the material and will be technical.
