John has been active in Rotary International where he served as president of the San Antonio Northwest Club and was the district governor's representative in chartering the San Antonio North Central and Airport Rotary Clubs. 

In real life, John has been a Registered Investment Advisor for more than twenty years. He shows individuals how to reduce their taxes, increase their income, and increase the return on their 401k and IRA retirement plans. 

He and his wife, Carola, have four grown children, four grandsons and a granddaughter. 

John is a recipient of the Alamo PC Meritorious Service Award Eight Year Award
